Enrichment Opportunities

Summer and After School Options Available

Enhance Arts Project offers a variety of performing and/or visual arts opportunities – arts education or arts integration – to inspire students to use higher order thinking skills, risk taking, collaboration, and creativity to meet the needs of the curriculum especially in the areas of social foundations, physical development and well-being. All of our classes and workshops build confidence and promote Citizen Artistry.

  • For all grades, PreK – 12
  • Highly qualified Teaching Artists to work with the students  
  • Unique programming to meet each school or program’s specific needs during summer or after school 
  • Enrichment opportunities available in:
  • Designed to engage a variety of interest levels and ages. 
  • Contributes to self-confidence, rhythm/mathematical and pattern awareness, physical fitness, persistence, creative thinking, and development of group work.
  • Includes improvisation, scene work, theater games, or character development.
  • Impacts narrative understanding, increases understanding of character identification and motivation, and strengthens verbal, reading and writing skills. 
  • Improvisation is an excellent tool for strengthening communication and social skills, listening, collaboration, and increasing flexibility and spontaneity.

Combines the self-confidence of dance, rhythm and language development of music, and the narrative impact of theater.

Impacts problem solving, mathematics, working memory, language development, and spatial-temporal reasoning.

Contributes to reading skills, hand-eye coordination, helps communication and writing, and impacts reading readiness.

Inspired by favorite books and genres and supports the areas of problem solving, creativity, and communication.

In School Programs

  • For Grades K – 8
  • A one-hour lecture-demonstration in dance, theatre, or poetry/spoken word.
  • Includes a short performance, audience participation, and audience Q&A.
  • Customizable programs available.
  • For Grades Pre-K – 2
  • Book Bop: Reading, Rolling, and Rhythm!
  • Integrates movement and literacy/pre-literacy strategies.
  • Presentation features high quality children’s literature to demonstrate literacy strategies.

Classroom Residency

Teaching artists work in partnership with a classroom teacher during school hours to develop and deliver a creative project that can integrate into a subject area or stand alone.

  • For all grades
  • Offer training, coaching and mentoring for students of all abilities with or without prior arts experience.
  • Residencies can focus on theatre, dance, or poetry/spoken word.

After School Programs

  • For Grades K – 8
  • 13-week program from the page to the stage!
  • Culminates in a performance.
  • Spring option only.

Cost:

  • Musical: $2,800
  • Non-musical: $1,800
  • For Grades K – 8
  • 8-week program
  • Theatre, dance, ASL, poetry/spoken word
  • Spring or fall.

Cost:

  • 5 student minimum.
  • $100 per student
