ASL/English Integrated Programs

Enhance Arts Project works in collaboration with Maryland School for the Deaf and the Deaf Community in Frederick, MD to create a one of a kind ASL/English; Deaf/Hearing arts program. Enhance strives to create a safe space for Deaf Artists to make art and have it shared and amplified by the Deaf and hearing communities. This is a unique bilingual/ bicultural arts program that strives to meet the needs of the Deaf Community of artists and audience members while integrating arts, cultures, and Languages. We create in person theater as well as film work to meet the diverse needs of the Deaf and hearing arts Communities.

You, Too!

You, Too! is an original web series featuring educational arts content for an audience of elementary school-age Deaf and hearing children. Our pilot (2) episodes are geared toward K – 2 students while being captivating to all Elementary School ages. It integrates various performing arts disciplines, including dance, theater, and poetry, using an innovative bilingual approach–featuring both ASL (American Sign Language) and English. 

Jack & the Electric Beanstalk

Deaf/Hearing integrated production of Jack and the Beanstalk written by Julie Bourne. Deaf and hearing actors and communities collaborate to create a theatre experience that uses ASL and English to put a local twist on an old classic!
